from a fabulous collection of crepe papers i found dating from the 1920's. the paper wrappings have the most lovely art nouveau designs. the paper is has a wonderful hand to it. it. this tiny ruffled crepe paper garland is hand made with vintage dennison crepe paper. the clear robins egg blue color is stunning and has some brown flecks due to aging and storage. the paper garland is 32 inches long and just under 1 inch wide.
the garland is folded carefully and wrapped with a piece of vintage book paper with a nest of sugared stamens tied with tulle.
fold a 4 inch piece of the paper garland in half along the stitching and twirl it in a circle to make a delicate Florette or ruffled medallion.
