■To keep the rounded shape on the cap you will need a Mini Cap Setter (see link below) and an Anvil (see link below).
You can set these without the setter and anvil by using your bench block. Simply make your hole in the leather with your rotary punch or mini punch set, place the rivet in hole and add the cap. They will snap loosely together and then tap on your bench block with your mallet or hammer to set. The cap will flatten out but still looks fine. I used my bench block without the Setter and Anvil in the samples above. Use the 1/8" punch of your EURO Power Punch to place a hole in your metal. If you don't make a large enough hole in your metal, the cap could bend and will not make a proper connection. You always want to check the size of the hole by seeing if the cap portion will fit through the hole. If it won't, it will not make a good connection and will probably bend.
