Offered is a wonderful Victorian era antique fob or pendant hanging on a necklace chain. The black pendant piece is also a flip pendant which is really cool - it can flip to the other side. This has an intaglio design of a roman soldier bust on one side and a beautiful monogram of the letter "B" on the reverse side. The black is most likely jet or black glass. The metal is gold-filled around the border. This is a beautiful piece dating circa 1900.
The condition is good - there are no chips, cracks or problems with the pendant. The chain is an older chain with an old fashioned clasp that is in good working order.
The pendant measures 1" x 1 1/4", including the scrolled design on the top. The attached chain is 17" in length. Enjoy!
