This is a vintage 50s amber Lucite wicker purse. The double handles and side trim is done in this rich amber Lucite with butterscotch striations. The color of the wicker is honey. The top of the bag has the fold over Lucite latch with the barrel shaped turn key lock. The bottom of the bag has the faux leather done in a reddish brown with the 4 brass metal feet. The inside of the bag is lined in vinyl and has a metal center zipper divider. The back section does have a slip pocket. The tag reads Hand-Made in British Hong Kong. The bag measures....10" x 8" x 3.5". The drop is 4". The bag is in excellent condition and the inside is clean. I am going to call this bag a tlc bag and here is why. On the one side there was a plastic decoration with shells and trim. I took it off and now there is glue residue all around the purse edge from where the trim was. (see picture 3) Also it faded where the decoration was. I was going to put on a new decoration but never got around to it. It would make a great upcycle project. When sitting flat the bag does tilt a little but not as bad as the picture. The ground was uneven. The bag is perfect for your 50s lucy, rockabilly or even into your 60s mad men wardrobe.

If your actual shipping is less than the quoted amount, I will refund the difference if it is greater than $1.00. I have to estimate the shipping charge to cover all shipping zones. The purse will be shipping at the 2-3 pound rate.

New postal rates did go into effect 1/27/13 for everyone. Please do not blame me. Blame the US postal service.
